House of Football is brought to you by Coca-Cola, official partner of the Premier League
Another week of football means another episode of House of Football.
Leeds United take on Tottenham, Arsenal take on West Ham, but the biggest match of the weekend is undeniably Liverpool vs Chelsea.
And of course, with a weekend of football, that means one thing, there’s another House of Football podcast to feast your eyes on.
Two weeks ago we reported on the perfect combined XI of Liverpool and Everton.
Last week, we brought you the top players under the age of 23.
But this week we’ve got a bit of a different selection for you.
You can watch the full clip below:
This time we’ve asked our guest, football connoisseur Enda Coll, to pick three best players to help his ‘team’ have a clean sheet.
But there is a catch. You have to pick one player from the top six teams, one player from a mid-table team, and one player from a team sitting 12-20th in league.
So wasting no more time, here we have it.
At the back, Enda picked Ireland’s own Caoimhin Kelleher.
Enda explained that he picked Kelleher as he believes he’s the standout keeper of the clubs that will likely be fighting the relagation battle.
In midfield, Enda’s picked Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.
Enda said of his choice: “If you have a goalkeeper of Kelleher’s standard, a defensive midfielder of Carlos Baleba’s standard, then you’re on a really good track not to concede many goals.”
And for his defender, from the top six, Enda finished his picks with Liverpool legend, Virgil Van Dijk. His record speaks for itself.
But who makes your list?
