The Chelsea skipper spoke to the fan after the loss at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta was involved in a heated exchange with a group of fans at Stamford Bridge following their 4-2 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred shortly after the full-time whistle as Azpilicueta began walking towards the west stand and down the tunnel, where he appeared to spot a fan making a gesture towards him.
Azpilicueta was spotted throwing his arms in the air as he confronted the fan before showing his anger at the gestures being directed toward him and his teammates.

Thomas Tuchel admitted he had some sympathy towards the fan
After the game, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was asked about the altercation and the German admitted that he had some sympathy towards the fan who made the gesture.
“I was not part of it, I saw it, but, honestly, I can also understand the fan,” he said.
“It was a totally wild and open game in the first half, already at 2-2 after we came back twice.
“We had a good start but again gave the first goal away, which is impossible to do these things in consecutive matches. But we’re doing it. We came back twice and we scored another two in the second half, unfortunately for the wrong side.
“It’s a level of mistakes, the number of mistakes in consecutive games here at home, it’s impossible at this kind of level. You don’t see this. It’s simply impossible, but we’re doing this at the moment and you cannot win football games like this.”
Arsenal secure huge win in race for the top four.
Tuchel’s side were beaten by their London rivals as Arsenal recorded an important victory to keep their top-four hopes alive.
Eddie Nketiah was given a rare start by Mikel Arteta and grasped the opportunity with both hands as he scored a brace at Stamford Bridge.
His first came after a woeful pass from Andreas Christensen was intercepted by the forward, before he slotted the ball past Edouard Mendy.

Timo Werner found the equaliser for the Blues as his deflected effort beat Aaron Ramsdale before Arsenal restored their lead courtesy of Emile Smith-Rowe.
Azpilicueta then equalised for the home side on the verge of half time, however, Nketiah scored his second and the Gunners’ third before Bukayo Saka’s late penalty sealed the points for Arsenal.
