Ireland's success on the water at the Olympics looks set to continue.
Friday saw Paul and Gary O'Donovan win silver in the men’s lightweight double sculls final, and on Saturday Annalise Murphy put herself in a strong position to claim a medal.
Murphy finished sixth in her Laser Radial race on Saturday afternoon, leaving herself in third position overall heading into Monday's medal race.
Murphy suffered heartbreak at the London Olympics four years ago, finishing fourth and just outside the medal places.
A post on the sailor's official Facebook page explained the complicated permutations regarding her chances of winning a medal on Monday.
