We guess Eoin and Piers aren't cousins then

Piers Morgan is the man everyone loves to hate on Twitter and, in fairness to him, he makes Given he was very publicly readying himself to go to some snazzy Oscars after-party it's a surprise that Piers Morgan had time to do anything else. But multi-tasking is clearly one of his strengths and Piers had time to watch England face Scotland in the Cricket World Cup and to criticise Eoin Morgan for not singing along to God Save the Queen in his role as England's captain. Predictably there were a barrage of replies along the the lines of 'Morgan is Irish you f****** half-wit w*****' But amid all the noise one well-known person leapt to the defence of the Dubliner: step forward Gary Lineker, who pointed out that demanding that a player sing the anthem is as pointless as a vaguely hysterical Twitter feed that sets out to shock and annoy people just to fuel its owner's notoriety. https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/569617803533119488
