Three games, two defeats.

Fiona Coghlan warned before the Six Nations that it was going to be a rebuilding campaign for the Irish women's rugby team but the country's first competitive defeat to Italy has forced more introspection. 29-27 was the final score in Parma and, with France arriving in Dublin for the next game, it's not going to get any easier. Coghlan picked apart the Italian defeat, where it went wrong, what needs to change but also some of the positives that were on display in the form of three players. Fiona Coghlan is the former Captain of the Irish Women’s 2013 Grand Slam Winning Rugby Team. A PE and Maths Teacher, Fiona is also a Client Services Manager at sports management agency, Navy Blue Sports.
