Philadelphia Eagles' Nolan Carroll was probably most thankful for consciousness this holiday, after ending up on the receiving end of a brutal body-check from Dallas Cowboys returner Dwayne Harris.

With the Eagles coasting 33-10 against their NFC East rivals, Carroll was chasing down a punt with his eyes in the sky, only to be blind-sighted by the Harris, who absolutely leveled his opponent. As cheap shots go, this is as bad as it gets, and it even sparked a bit of a schemozzle between the pair on the sideline. Harris was rightly penalised for unnecessary roughness, which is putting his cheap shot fairly mildly.
