Every workout should be this fun.

Especially given that we’re heading into the colder winter months, it can be hard to motivate yourself into exercising outdoors. Fair enough if you’re on a team and would get lambasted in the WhatsApp group if you skipped training, but not all of us are so lucky.

Just a short walk from the Stillorgan LUAS stop is Skill Zone, where you can play everything from baseball and golf to GAA and rugby without having to rely on the Irish weather. Be it for a stag or a work event, it’s a chance to earn some serious bragging points.

Something for everyone

Each of the 10 zones in the 15,000sq. ft. arena has a different sport. You’ll be against the clock to rack up as many points as possible.

You’ll get up to 12 attempts at each sport, and a full circuit will take up to 90 minutes to complete. The maximum number of points is 100, and you can even get your name onto the leaderboard if you’re good enough.

Dublin footballer Michael Darragh MacAuley is top of the leaderboard with 73 points, do you reckon you can beat that? He did beat Ulster and Ireland rugby player Jordi Murphy, so it won’t be an easy score to match!

Skill Zone is Dublin’s first multi-sport indoor arena. Try your hand at 10 different sports including basketball, soccer, rugby, baseball, tennis, and a 6-metre climbing wall! Each participant has up to 12 attempts at each sport to reach 100 points, and it’s ideal for stags & hens, or parties with workmates and friends. All participants must be over 10 years of age and have a waiver signed.
