Anyone watching Colm Cooper play in front of 82,000 people wouldn't believe their eyes.
It wasn't the Gooch's day on Sunday even if he did turn on the old Gooch style but Dublin beat Kerry handsomely in the end to win their fourth Division One league title in a row and the Kingdom were sent packing from headquarters yet again.
It was a huge day for the country though as the GAA marked the memory of the 1916 rising with a stunning commemoration after the Tyrone-Cavan and Dublin-Kerry deciders.
They flocked from all over the world to witness the spectacle but even those non-Irish amongst the crowd enjoyed the spectacle of the actual games. How could you not? Especially when Colm Cooper was around.
Tennis coach and mother to a couple of grand slam children, Judy Murray, was amongst the crowd in Croker on Sunday and she marvelled at it from start to finish.
Right from the off, she could see the impact of our games.

Then, as the crowds began to flock in for the main even between Dublin and Kerry, it became harder to believe that this was a group of amateurs down below.
Elite skill level, professional athleticism, being roared on by a capacity crowd in the best of grounds.

And, even though he wasn't on the winning team, Judy Murray knows a player when she sees one.

Not everyone was happy with the sentiment though...
