Ever get asked to explain something to an alien from Mars?
That's not a dig at the Kardashians but Normal People has spread all over the world, so much so that former Kildare minor captain Paul Mescal was the most searched person on the internet last week.
And rather than getting those classic reactions we used to love from Americans and whoever else watching our national games, the GAA scenes in Normal People was thrust upon millions who were tuning in for something very different.
Before they knew it, it was gone again and they were all asking the same question. Why were they playing rugby with a football and kicking into a net?
What the hell is the sport they are playing on Normal People?
It's Gaelic football, if you're still none the wiser. But, trying to explain it, we found it very difficult.
