There was a no-look assist in the Munster U21 hurling final and it was downright sensational.
Waterford defeated Tipperary by 2-19 to 0-15 to claim their first Munster U21 title in 22 years after an inspired team performance in the closing minutes of the game.
After a strong start to the second half by the Premier county, Waterford went on the rampage, bringing the game level at 1-11 to 0-14 with 15 minutes left to go. They continued their dominance by adding a further 1-8 to their tally, while Tipp could only manage a solitary point in this period.
The highlight of the game was undoubtedly Peter Hogan's goal 10 minutes from the final whistle. Austin Gleeson whipped the sliotar into Stephen Bennett who pulled off one of the greatest assists in the history of the sport.
Bennett picked up a loose ball and flicked it over his head straight into Hogan's path who thundered into the Tipperary net.
