We're not used to these low scoring affairs but Ashling Thompson's Cork came through a stern test against Galway 2-9 to 1-9 to book a place in an All-Ireland final.
It goes without saying that it is heartbreaking for the entire Galway squad coming this far and being dumped out by such a slim margin.
Their top scorer on the day was that of Aoife Donohue, she netted four points and three of them came in the way of frees.
The Mullagh woman was evidently upset after the narrow loss and was but was comforted by Cork's Ashling Thompson.
