Vine: Limerick survive almighty goalmouth scramble against Dublin

Homesport

Dublin and Limerick faced off at Croke Park today in the Allianz Division 1 Hurling League quarter-finals.

The Dubs won 1-25 to Limerick's 0-16, but it could have been more if they had have registered this score. Colm Cronin's initial effort was saved by Limerick goalkeeper Nickie Quaid, the 21-year old then got another chance, but hit the post. A Limerick defender manages to deflect the sliotar across the goalmouth, a Dublin forward dives in, misses, and the Treaty County somehow manage to scramble it clear. Scenes. H/T Live Gaelic.
