Limerick man scores when he wants
The opening weekend of the Allianz Hurling League saw some cracking games across the various divisions, and despite being only mid-February, forwards and backs were in super form from a variety of angles and ranges.
Seven top scores make the list of the best from the weekend but we're pretty sure that there easily could have been ten more.
Points from Limerick's Richie McCarthy, Waterford's Austin Gleeson as well as Kilkenny's Richie Hogan make the selection while the green flags raised by Eamon Dillon and Liam Rushe in Dublin's stunning win over Tipperary.
The crucial goals by Joseph Cooney and Cathal Mannion for Galway in their win over Clare also make the cut after a fantastic opening weekend.
