You'd think that a four-week climbing trek of the French Alps would be enough exercise. But sure what is exercise without your touch?
A group from the University of Limerick Outdoor Pursuit Club brought a very Irish feel to some of the iciest ascents in Europe when they packed hurls and sliotars alongside their climbing gear and ice axes.
They pucked around atop some of the mistiest of heights, waiting on cable cars, warming up for another climb or just keeping in training for the 'life or death' Junior B championship they have coming up - at least that's what they told confused onlookers.
Some of the shots are truly spectacular and it's fair to say that the GAA has spread a little farther again after the trip.
