They don't call the AIB Club Championship #TheToughest for nothing. Becoming top dog in your county is a fierce battle and in a place like Cork, festooned as it is with clubs, it is even hardder. Last month Ballincollig claimed the Cork senior football title, the first time they had achieved the feat in their 127 year history. John Miskella, who played for the club for 19 years, described the moment post-match as his 'best sporting feeling'.
