Wexford to Fermanagh isn't exactly a stone's throw away so the Erne county defender could be forgiven for wanting to close his eyes for a second after a hard day's work had helped Fermanagh gain promotion into Division Two with a game to spare.
Unfortunately for him though, the Ulster men celebrate by winding each other up.
You don't nod off on a GAA team bus though and McCusker might have trouble sleeping at all now after his team mates scared him into thinking the bus was about to crash.
His defensive partner, Ryan McCluskey, showed no mercy in uploading this hilarious video - taken by Barry Mulrone - of McCusker blissfully snoozing until he's awoken to the screams of his team. And he literally looks to have crapped himself as he wakes up to the terror of it all.
McCusker comes back around, pulls a horrified face, lifts his hands helplessly into the air and joins in on the screaming until he realises that the rascals are having him on.
He takes it well though but, naturally, he has a bit of a red face as the rest of them just sit and laugh at him.
Fair play, lads. The video was nearly as good as the promotion.
Dose can't believe we were promoted ha ha #fakecrash
