The top eight Gaelic football images of the 2022 campaign

Sometimes a photo can say more than a thousand words.

After an incredible season of Gaelic football, we have scrolled through the wonderful archives of Sportsfile and picked out the top eight images of the 2022 campaign. It was a season that saw Kerry win their first All-Ireland in eight years, Meath Ladies regain their title, and it pretty much became the year of David Clifford, who won everything he could possibly win with club and county. There have been some massive moments, such as Sean O'Shea's iconic free kick against Dublin, or Rian O'Neill's last gap equaliser against Galway, but some of these images capture the moments that you maybe missed.
