Tomas Ó Se’s advice to Paul Kerrigan is simple yet effective

Imagine you're Paul Kerrigan for just one second.

You'd be forgiven if you believed you knew it all. You've an All-Ireland title and a wealth of experience under your belt. At club level, you've has made the All-Ireland final you've three Munster titles. What else can you do? But there is always room for improvement and Tomás Ó Sé is doing just that with Kerrigan and Nemo Rangers. The Cork forward was speaking on the GAA Hour, representing his club, and was full of praise for his club teammate. https://twitter.com/TheGAAHour/status/933705439614775297 Ó Sé may well be out injured with a back injury for this weekend's Munster final against All-Ireland champions Dr Crokes.

"He’s probably nursing an injury at the moment," Kerrigan said on the show. "He would have hurt his back during the summer and it is kind of recurring so he’ll be touch and go for the weekend so I’m not sure but he’s obviously a great addition for us."

And, by the sounds of it, the Kerry legend has settled in well:

"He would have known a lot of our management anyway, he’d be nearly the same age as them and just settled in nice and quietly. He played a bit of golf, there’s a golf society and his young fella is obviously in the club so he’d know a few lads that have the kids as well."

"He’s very good around match time, he has that fire and can turn and is very good. He knows the right things to say to fellas and to motivate different fellas he’s been around the block for so long. "I’d say he’s enjoying it as well which is important for him because he wouldn’t keep coming back if he didn’t. "As an older lad he’d be saying if you lead and throw your shoulder into the wheel the rest will follow. "If you lead by example and can put them under pressure around the middle third and the rest will follow so I suppose I’ve taken that from him, to be honest. "We’ve won two counties in the last couple of years since he’s been involved, I think it’s two in the last three so he’s obviously helped us an awful lot."

Nemo Rangers will now hope to upset the odds on Sunday as they are installed as 5/2 underdogs against Dr Crokes.
