Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face.

Belts, cuts and scars heel a lot quicker when you're after winning a game. After losing, the pain of a loss and and any injuries suffered are ten times worse. Moy Tír Na nÓg suffered an agonising one point defeat to Edendork in the Tyrone SFC on Saturday evening. Sean Cavanagh will have been sorer than any of them getting up this morning. https://twitter.com/TyroneGAALive/status/1040963707189309440 It was a bruising encounter up in Dungannon. Six men received red cards in a game where bizarrely, not one of them was a straight one. The yellows and black cards mounted in a highly strung encounter with the tension all kicking off after just 20 minutes of the action. The game was delayed for a lengthy period of time after an incident that saw Sean Cavanagh taken away in an ambulance. https://twitter.com/TyroneGAALive/status/1040970988203241472 That was only the start of it with three Tyrone stars in Colm Cavanagh, Darren McCurry and Harry Loughran all subsequently sent off, McCurry's second yellow coming just moments after he'd kicked the winning point for Edendork. https://twitter.com/MoysPhillyMc/status/1040990403917479936 A picture emerged showing the damage done to Cavanagh's face on Sunday morning, with a couple of scars and scratches stretching all the way across his face. https://twitter.com/buddygreene/status/1041308488578883589 Moy issued the following statement on their Facebook page after the game.
"Commiserations to An Mhaigh senior men's football squad and management on their very unfortunate one point defeat to Edendork in today's SFC first round match at Dungannon. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Sean Cavanagh who picked up a nasty facial injury early in the match and was transported to Craigavon hospital by ambulance."
Cavanagh has since tweeted about the extent of the injuries he's suffered. https://twitter.com/SeanCavanagh14/status/1041336434039431168 Speedy recovery Sean.
