That would absolutely be the mantra of the full-back line that you have decided upon for the greatest club football team of all-time.
Modern day masters of the position like Rory O’Carroll and Finian Hanley don’t get a look in here and neither do legends like the Kavanaghs from Nemo Rangers and Cork, Mike Hassett from Kerry or All-Ireland winning Galway captain, Ray Silke.
Instead, you have opted for plenty of northern steel in Niall McCusker and the great Francie Bellew of Crossmaglen and Armagh, who are joined in the full-back line by Corofin and Galway stalwart Kieran Fitzgerald, who is on the hunt for another club All-Ireland title this season.
Voting for the goalkeeper position is now open and below is the team so far.
Next week we’ll have the definitive XV and whoever gets the nod in nets, it’s going to be an amazing team.
The full-back line votes:
Kieran Fitzgerald – 26.18%
Francie Bellew – 18.34%
Niall McCusker – 9.1%
Mike Hassett – 7.62%
Rory O’Carroll – 7.41%
Ray Silke – 6.36%
Derek Kavanagh – 5.65%
Finian Hanley – 5.25%
John O’Keefe – 4.16%
Larry Kavanagh – 3.39%
Tommy McGovern – 3.34%
Hugh Kenny – 3.19%

He was recently in charge of St Brigid’s, but stepped down after the All-Ireland […]
This would be incredible! Right now, Nathan Collins’ focus is Ireland and Brentford, with the centre back captaining both sides. And this will be his focus for at least the next decade, as the Leixlip man is still just 24. However, in an interview with the BBC, he spoke about his early roots in the […]
