Some of the celebration photos from Sunday's club championship finals are really something else, showing just what the GAA means to people in Ireland. And, whilst there were some nice photos, there were also a few classically Irish moments to be had throughout the weekend too. Of course there was. Armagh SFC final Crossmaglen 2-22 Armagh Harps 0-10 If you had money on Crossmaglen to win the Armagh championship, you probably didn't make much back. If anything. The south Armagh outfit breezed to yet another county championship on Sunday with just the 18 points to spare to make it six titles in a row. Think that's good? It was their 19th championship in 20. Galway SFC final Mountbellew/Moylough 0-12 Corofin 3-13 The All-Ireland champions go marching on. Galway's Corofin romped through their county and province in 2014 before going on and upsetting St. Vincent's and blowing Slaughtneil away in Croke Park. And they're on track to do just that again with a third successive county title in the bag. Who's next? Westmeath SFC final Castledaly 0-8 St. Loman’s 1-15 Mullingar outfit St. Loman's blew Castledaly away to secure the club's second county title in three years. Four points from John Heslin led the way to glory in the Lakelands and it's safe to say that they didn't wait too long to get the celebrations started. Down SFC final Kilcoo 3-10 Castlewellan 0-11 Kilcoo have ensured that we're in for an intriguing Ulster championship after seeing off Castlewellan. The black jerseys made it four-in-a-row as they continued their dominance of the Mourne county and, with Slaughtneil and Crossmaglen joining them in the provincial series, it's anybody's. Cavan SFC final Kingscourt 1-9 Castlerahan 0-11 A Philip Tinnelly goal inspired Kingscourt as they came from behind to win their 11th Cavan title. And the same boy wasted no time in whipping the top off and showing off his own merchandise. But, whilst there was every cause for celebration, we also think they should fit in time for a few colour lessons... Is it blue? Or purple? (Oh bollocks, not this again) Wicklow SFC final Rathnew 3-6 St Patrick’s 0-9 Rathnew go marching on. And they were led there by their captain Nicky Mernagh whose two second half goals paved the way for more Wicklow success. Offaly SFC final Rhode 1-10 Edenderry 1-12 There's a new champion in Offaly as Edenderry saw off Rhode in a tight affair. A first half goal from Derek Kelly put them into a lead at the break to set the stage to show the former champions the end of the Rhode... (sorry). And the club got equally as romantic and classically Irish on their Facebook page afterwards. Clare SHC final Sixmilebridge 1-21 Clonlara 0-15 Scenes. What scenes. Just the 13 points for Niall Gilligan. The Clare hurling legend nailed 12 frees as he led Sixmilebridge back to reclaim their senior hurling title. And thank heavens that they wheeled out the one-foot platform for Caimin Morey, otherwise no-one would've seen him. Cork SHC final Glen Rovers 2-17 Sarsfields 1-13 26 years buried. Glen Rovers put 26 years of angst behind them as they claimed their... 26th Cork Senior Hurling title. David Cunningham and David Dooling netted as Rovers ran up a lead that they hung on to for dear life and saw off last year's champions Sarsfields in momentous circumstances. Four goals weren't enough for the eventual losers as Limerick crowned new champions to represent them in Munster. Leitrim SHC final Ballinamore 3-10 Carrick 3-9 Ballinamore won the Leitrim hurling title by one single point to capture their first taste of glory since 1987. Two goals from Kevin O'Connor helped them there. The scenes. Meath SHC final Kiltale 2-15 Kildalkey 0-12 The Kiltale lads went bonkers as they made it back-to-back titles. Louth SHC final St Fechin’s 2-20 Pearse Óg's 3-11 11 points from man of the match Paddy Lynch set St. Fechin's on their way to Louth hurling glory. Mayo SHC final Ballyhaunis 0-20 Tooreen 1-14 Mayo footballer Keith Higgins scored six points from midfield with Ballyhaunis as he led his club to back up last year's hurling success on the west coast. Meanwhile... Calry/St. Josephe's won the Sligo hurling title, beating Western Gael 0-10 to 0-9 in a low-scoring final but they have to do it all again in the Roscommon decider as Four Roads and Pádraig Pearses drew 0-16 to 1-13. Kilkenny SHC semi final O’Loughlin Gaels 2-15 Ballyhale Shamrocks 2-13 All-Ireland champions, Ballyhale, are gone. With last year's fellow finalists at Croker, Kilmallock, failing to even reach the Limerick final, the champions of the entire country have also failed to come through their county as O'Loughlin Gaels set up a Kilkenny decider with Clara.
