Serious scenes in the Limerick dressing room after famous All-Ireland victory

Limerick are the All-Ireland hurling champions for 2018 after a 45 year wait for their 8th title ended today in Croke Park.

Within those 45 years there has been some devastating losses, including five All-Ireland deciders.

• Kilkenny in 1974, one year after that last win.
• Galway in 1980
• Offaly in 1994
• Clare in 1996
• Kilkenny again in 2007

The Limerick dressing room for those five finals must have been a pretty sombre place, but we are sure that the players and management team are making up for years of hurt right about now.
