It has been an interesting month for Rob Hennelly.
The goalkeeper was surprisingly selected ahead of David Clarke for All-Ireland final, was shown a black card and conceded a penalty after a bad mistake, became the focal point of reaction to Mayo's defeat to Dublin, released a statement about his error, was criticised for doing so by Joe Brolly and eventually got back to some level of normality with his club Breaffy.
His crazy season is now at an end after Breaffy were defeated in the Mayo SFC semi-finals by Knockmore, who have reached their first final since 2008.

Hennelly kept three clean sheets in a row, against Davitts, Crossmolina and Knockmore but couldn't prevent last year's defeated county finalists from exiting the Championship at the penultimate stage.
Not only did the Mayo star prevent a green flag being raised for the third match in a row, he also scored two points from placed balls for Breaffy. Including one late free from distance that left a single point between the teams going into extra-time.

As he said himself, he will be back next year.
Knockmore will face the winners of Castlebar Mitchels and Ballintubber in the final.
