Rebel yell as Cork lift All-Ireland ladies football crown for 10th time in 11 years

Cork have done the double once again after the county's ladies footballers overcame Dublin this afternoon to lift the All-Ireland senior title by 0-12 to 0-10

A scoring spree at the start of the second half proved the key turning point in the game as the Munster side took the lead which they never relinquished. The teams were level at the short whistle at 0-5 each but two Valerie Mulcahy frees after half-time opened up the lead for Cork and Dublin could never find parity afterwards despite their efforts. Mulcahy was crucial to the champions success as her deadball skills proved a killer everytime Dublin fouled within 30 yards of goal. Dublin worked hard to limit the Cork opportunities with the Munster side struggling to bread down the massed defence, while they also kicked five wides.
