Kerry duo lead bunch of players facing two games in two days as League games refixed

Four Allianz Football League games fell victim to the adverse weather conditions of the weekend gone by. The GAA have confirmed that each of those games will take place this Sunday. Here are the fixture details. Division One Monaghan v Kerry, Inniskeen, 2.30. Division Two Cavan v Meath, Kingspan Breffni Park, 2.00. Division Three Derry v Offaly, Celtic Park, 2.00. Sligo v Fermanagh, Markievicz Park, 2.00. Controversy reigned last weekend, with many of these games postponed at late notice. One wonders whether this decision could have been made earlier, particularly given the harsh weather was forecast. Offaly player Nigel Dunne wanted to "to rant about how ridiculous that was," but claimed the whole situation had him "too tired..to cranky!!" More problems have arisen with the re-fixtures. With the Sigerson Cup final set to take place on Saturday, a host of players are facing the possibility of two games in two days. Should their colleges progress of course.
