That's some mighty fine drainage they have in Galway.

Yesterday we brought you news of the remarkable transformation of Clonbur GAA club's pitch into a lakeland habitat, complete with the headline "It'll be a while before this GAA pitch dries out" and we wouldn't be worth our salt if we didn't follow up and see how our underwater pals were doing today. Wait... what? CT7UFNrWoAAj2o- Yep, we got that one wrong alright. The waters have indeed receded in Clonbur, and with the sun shining and blue skies above you'd never know that Kevin Costner could have filmed the Waterworld sequel here just 24 hours ago.
