There once was a time when it wasn't lashing.

It was some time around the 1980s and it was grand not to have to worry about your house becoming subaquatic while you slept. One Kilkenny GAA club fell victim to the bastard known as Storm Frank who is rampaging his way through Ireland this week, ruining 12 Pubs and trips to the sales with no regard for the fact that we're actually looking to enjoy our holidays. Rower Inistioge players will return to pre-season training to find their pitch in an awful way, with the flooding almost reaching the crossbar. https://twitter.com/joycek87/status/681944695254192128 Club hurler Kieran Joyce shared the above picture of the pitch and it's safe to say that the lads better pack their armbands with their boots, socks and shorts when they come back to training.
