Páirc Uí Chaoimh will host this year's All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals, Central Council confirmed on Saturday.

The revamped Cork stadium was initially marked to host the Munster football and hurling deciders, but the rebuilding job wasn't completed in time. The All-Ireland quarters were originally planned to be played in Thurles, but the new 45,000 capacity stadium in Cork will make its return in four weeks' time, with the official opening of the stadium to occur on the 23rd July. It'll be the first time the quarter-finals will be played outside of Thurles since 2010. https://twitter.com/CorkGAAChair/status/876137854598098944 Reports emerged on Saturday claiming that the cost of the redevelopment of the stadium will cost the Cork county board up €85 million.
