No hurling on terrestrial tv again as Gaelic football takes centre stage

There's another big weekend of GAA action coming up.

Dublin are widely expected to beat Louth to win what would be a 14th title in a row though it's less predictable in Ulster, with Jim McGuinness coming up against his old foe Kieran McGeeney.

Donegal are favourites for the game on the back of their Division Two final triumph over Armagh, which they backed up with a sensational victory over Derry in the Ulster quarter final.

Having lost last year's final, Armagh will be eager to win it for the first time since 2008 though, and a tight game is anticipated.

While the football takes centre stage, certain hurling followers are disgruntled that, for the second week in a row, there will be no hurling on terrestrial television.

Instead, the crunch meeting of Limerick-Cork in the Munster championship will be exclusive to GAAGO on Saturday. Carlow-Kilkenny from the Leinster championship will also be available on the streaming platform while Dublin-Antrim is not available anywhere, even though it is a crucial game in the championship.

Certain hurling followers have been voicing their discontent in recent days, with neither Tipperary-Waterford or Galway-Wexford having been shown on terrestrial tv last weekend.
