Mickey Harte has stepped down from his role as manager of Derry after just one year in charge.
Harte leaves after a disappointing Championship campaign which saw them knocked out of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championships by Kerry at the quarter final stage last week.
The Tyrone legend was a shock appointment last year but he guided the Oak Leafers to a National Football League Division One title.
They then went on to lose their Ulster title to Donegal before finishing third in the All-Ireland group stages.
Derry then beat Mayo in the preliminary quarter-finals before their run came to an end against Kerry.
In a statement addressing Derry supporters Harte said: "I would like to thank the players for the huge commitment they gave to the Derry jersey during the 2024 season.
"I would also like to thank Gavin [Devlin, coach] and the entire backroom team for their hard work, dedication and expertise.
"Thanks too for the support of the County Board and all those generous sponsors of the GAA in Derry. Finally, I wish the players every success in the years ahead."
"We sincerely thank Mickey, Gavin and their entire backroom team for their hard work and dedication throughout the 2024 season. We wish them the very best in their future endeavours," said John Keenan.
