"We got a real connection of what being from Mayo is about and what we represent and how we impact on people's lives." Aidan O'Shea there speaking about what playing for his county means to him. The Mayo footballer, along with Colm Boyle and Lee Keegan, stars in a new video released by Mayo.ie to promote tourism in the county. The three footballers discuss what being from the county means to them and admit that they had their eyes opened five years ago when they went on a training camp to Belmullet in the north of the county. The video follows the players as they embark from McHale Park on a road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way. It is the second production in the ‘Wild Mayo’ series of five tourism films.

It shows the trio in a 4x4, standing on the edge of some cliffs (too close for some fans' liking, no doubt), on a fishing trawler, in a restaurant kitchen, acting as waiters and pulling pints in a pub.

Ne'er a drop passed their own lips no doubt, it is Championship season after all.
