Mayo claimed their first EirGrid U21 All-Ireland Championship in 10 years on Sunday after dispatching Cork by 5-7 to 1-14 in Ennis.
Ronan Finn may not have made it onto the pitch for the game, but he did manage to make Mayo fan Sean Derrig's day with his incredibly thoughtful gesture.
Ronan's walked over to Sean after the final whistle and gave him the jersey he had been wearing for the final. Claremorris GAA club tweeted a photo of Ronan and Sean along with a message from Sally Geraghty.
She thanked Ronan for his kind act and explained that Sean was very proud of the jersey. She added that he will never forget the experience.
