When Mark Kehoe picked up the ball on the 45 and out by the sideline, there didn't seem to be much on. Seamus Downey looked to have him covered and there were a few other Mary I defenders back just in case.
But Kehoe didn't care about the men in blue, he didn't even care about the point. He had one thing on his mind and he was going to go for the jugular.
With his languid, relaxed style, the Kilsheelan Kilcash club man rounded the Clare man with majestic ease. Onto the next one. Up stepped Eoghan Ryan of Loughmore Castleiney he had the sliotar tipped over his head before he knew where he was.
Another Tipperary man came to stop Kehoe in Nenagh's Philip Hickey, but Kehoe was inspired and nothing could stop him. He bullocked Hickey out of his way, sold David Prendergast a dummy and finished off one of the best Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup goals of all time past Eoghan Cahill.
