Lee Keegan struggled to get a word in with Joe Brolly on The Saturday Game

Viewers of The Saturday Game sympathised with Mayo All-Star Lee Keegan during his debut appearance on the show for Dublin's opening Super 8s win over Donegal on Saturday.

Keegan appeared on the panel alongside former All-Ireland winners Joe Brolly and Tomás Ó Sé to analyse the game but often struggled to get his point across as he battled with the regular panelists for airtime. "Michael Murphy was anonymous around the middle of the field. He was a liability there," Brolly said on RTE. "Sooner or later, somebody's going to have to say this is not good enough for a player of his calibre. "Put him on the edge of the square, Jamie Brennan playing off him. Jamie Brennan was all on his own and left to soldier alone.  "What did they have to lose in the second half? They're sitting and allowing Dublin to hand pass around for four or five minutes. They were like dogs chasing airplanes.
