Joe Brolly made that mistake before. He made it way back in 2014.

Ever since, Kerry's football factory has been putting in the long hours, the hard yards. As if the Derry pundit had just stoked a fire down in the south-west, the production line has been producing the country's finest for sport ever since.
On September the 2nd 2018, Kerry's minors won their fifth All-Ireland minor final in a row. Their minors now 1854 days unbeaten, they've won 30 minor games in a row, Kerry's isn't pulling its weight, that right?
And Kerry's class of 2018, boy were they impressive on Sunday. Galway blew them out of the water for the first half hour but you only really find out what a team is made of when they come eye-to-eye with adversity.

The boys of Kerry stared adversity, in the form of a seven point deficit, in between the eyes and they stood up tall and pumped their green and gold chests out. They remained calm, they reeled Galway back and minute by second half minute, Peter Keane's army just grabbed this game by the scruff.
Kieran Donaghy was proud of his county's boys. There were wide smiles all over the Kingdom as they basked in the glory of the first ever team to win five All-Irelands in a row.
And the Star couldn't let the moment pass without giving Brolly a timely reminder of those infamous words five years ago now.

Brolly accepted the dig gracefully.
Well done indeed.

But there's no denying it, he's never going to live that one down.
We somehow doubt Joe minds it too much though, he was enjoying himself out in Croke Park prior to throw-in, accepting the cheers of the crowd in GAA HQ as part of Derry's 1993 All-Ireland winning heroes.
Some man for one man.
Hup the Yellowbellies! Wexford have been promoted to Division 2, following a last-gasp win over Westmeath at Chadwicks Wexford Park. With the clock winding down, Westmeath had possession and a two-point lead over their promotion-chasing rivals. But a missed attempt at a point gave Wexford one last opportunity, and it was Seán Ryan who hammered […]
At least he sees the funny side. Dublin boss Ger Brennan was given a red card during his side’s Division 1 loss to Galway earlier today. The incident in question occurred on the stroke of half-time, when, after Galway had a penalty saved, tempers flared and Brennan was seen fighting with a Galway mentor and […]
Unreal scenes! Dublin have travelled to Galway for their Division 1 clash this afternoon. With the scores at 0-12 to 0-07 for the visitors, tempers frayed after the Tribesmen missed a penalty. It looked to be over and done with between the players but the scrap made its way to the sidelines, and Sky Blues […]
