In a decade dominated by Dublin, Kerry had one bright light in the darkness back in 2014.
Jim McGuinness managed to get his Donegal side over the seemingly unstoppable Dublin team under Jim Gavin, and went into the 2014 final as favourites to win the whole thing.
However, The Kingdom were sick of being written off, with many claiming that this once great Kerry team were past their past.
In fact, one particular pundit went as far as saying the "production line in Kerry has ended," something that the players clearly took exception to.
