Westmeath may be gone from the Championship, but their star man John Heslin is still making waves.

It wasn't a good year for The Lake County, as they received a hammering to Dublin in Leinster, and were then dumped out of the Championship in the qualifiers by Armagh. Their full forward, who could easily have become a soccer star and had trials with derby, made a young Westmeath fan's day during the week. Heslin looked to have had great craic with young Shane and his friends on the bouncy castle and throughout the party. The St Loman's club man, who also had a spell Down Under at an Aussie Rules club, was dressed to the nines and looked to have been the life and soul of the party. https://twitter.com/jheslin14/status/895716086968143874 Shane will remember the day for the rest of his life. Well done to Heslin, for showing the power that GAA players have all over Ireland. It's a big change from the farming that occuppies the majority of the 25-year-old's time. https://twitter.com/jheslin14/status/887044519128174593 The man deserves plenty of praise. https://twitter.com/jheslin14/status/882168322099380225
