If you were ever going to get the Derry man to say anything even indifferent about his Red Hand rivals, get legal on his ass. The RTÉ pundit by night, barrister by day, has cleared up how he sees the reported eight-week ban proposed for Tiarnan McCann's dive against Monaghan. According to Joe (Jesus, the Gospel according to Joe), McCann's only offence is simulation and to punish him for anything more severely than what the law allows is of course unlawful. An eight-week ban, in this case, would be considered more severe than what was ever written.
