What a bloody game.
Kerry and Cork served up an absolute clinker of a Munster final that ended 2-15 to 3-12 in Killarney.
Five goals, hard-hitting tackles, mistakes, subs, black cards, dubious decisions, Joe Brolly and late, audacious heroics - it had all the makings of a classic.
And, even though both sides tried their best to close up shop and keep the game tight, they proved that defensive football can actually be a good spectacle (if both teams are rubbish at defending).
The game of the championship so far though was carried by two cut-throat attacks as the two old enemies went at it for provincial honours and a place in the All-Ireland quarter final. And Cork were denied victory with the last kick of the game by an outrageous Fionn Fitzgerald score.
They'll have to do it again in a replay on July 18 and if the Twitter reaction to today's game is anything to go by, the whole country will be tuning in.

Cunningham is a two-time All-Ireland winner with the Tribesmen, and has managed both their senior hurling team and the Roscommon football team. He was recently in charge of St Brigid’s, but stepped down after the All-Ireland […]
