“I can’t hear” – Ecstatic supporters drown out post-match interview as Offaly win the u20 All-Ireland championship

Offaly have won their first u20 All-Ireland title since 1988, after a thrilling game against a Roscommon side, that refused to give up. Offaly did manage to stretch their lead to seven points at one stage, but Roscommon just kept coming and were a threat all the way to the final whistle. Cathal Donoghue picked up the man of the match award, after covering every blade of grass in Croke Park, and kicking two lovely scores. During the post match interview however, the Offaly fans made their presence known and the young star struggled to even hear the questions being put to him. "How does it feel to be All-Ireland champions?" asked the interviewer. "It's unbelievable, I can't believe we're All-Ireland champions, at the start of the year we had one goal which was to get to a Leinster final. "We achieved that, we kept our feet on the ground and we drove on, all the way to an All-Ireland.

"The pace today was very fast, Roscommon brought great intensity, there was so much pressure on the ball. It was tough to get scores out there, but we changed up and managed to pop off a few points.
