All-Ireland hurling semi-finals: All the teams, action and talking points

And then there were four.

In Kilkenny, Clare, Limerick and Galway - it's the same four as last year. Keep up to date with their All-Ireland semi-final clashes right here in our live-blog, which will load in just a second below.
These semi-finals have crept up on us, in some ways, with none of the four participating counties holding media days during the week. That has drawn some dissenting comments regarding a lack of promotion for the games but such is the way of the world, and crowds of almost 100,000 are still expected to pass through the Croke Park turnstiles this weekend. They will open on Saturday first, with a camogie and hurling double-header. Tipperary and Antrim's All-Ireland camogie quarter final will act as the curtain raiser for the big show, Galway vs Limerick in a repeat of last year's last four clash. Limerick have beaten Galway in the side's last three championship meetings, including a three point win at the same stage last year, and Galway will be hoping to turn the tables. Meanwhile, on Sunday, it's double-header time again. It's a big day for Kilkenny with their camogie team taking on Cork in the first game, which takes place before their hurlers take on Clare in another repeat pairing. Kilkenny blitzed the Banner last year and you would have to anticipate a much tigher game this time around.
