Hey, RTÉ! 2012 called and they want their token hurling report back.

We've all made mistakes. Even Joe Brolly. But, as gaffes go, RTÉ's blunder on Thursday evening caused a lot of fury and hurt, particularly amongst the hurling community. As Kerry prepare for their historic Leinster championship clash with Carlow on Sunday, RTÉ's report on the Six One News was telling a completely different story. Limerick legend Ciaran Carey leads the Kingdom into the All-Ireland senior hurling championship this weekend after the county won the Christy Ring last year but, according to the news report that aired this week, John Meyler was still in charge and they were preparing for the Christy Ring final. Hurling banter Via Hurling Banter Page. With Kerry hurling on a serious rise and a genuine buzz around this weekend's action, fans were left disappointed at the round-up. And, naturally, they aired their grievances. https://twitter.com/SeanMcGoldrick1/status/725745355648851969 https://twitter.com/laherne95/status/725744742944886784 https://twitter.com/oconne10/status/725745861045686277 https://twitter.com/pegasusii/status/725751573318606849 https://twitter.com/NiallMcintyre/status/725745881434181633 https://twitter.com/desmythen/status/725745483315077121 https://twitter.com/laherne95/status/725746336990109696 Click snap
