This video from AIB will make every GAA fan ask themselves what they'd do in this situation
What’s the toughest thing a GAA fan could do during the All Ireland final? Not watch it.As part of their continued support for club and county GAA, AIB gathered some die hard GAA fans from across the island for a video. Each participant was from one of the counties that are taking part in the semi-finals; Kerry, Dublin, Mayo and Tyrone. They were all blindfolded and put into boxes with only a screen and a big button. There they were given the choice, they could either press the button and watch their county play the semi final, or remain in the box for the duration of the game- and win tickets to the All Ireland Final.“This is probably the longest 70 minutes of my life” says one of the fans, in what makes for excruciating viewing. There are flashes on screen every time a goal or point is scored, but the team that’s winning remains unknown. It’s all worth it for the pay-off at the end, when the victorious sides are revealed. The others, however are left saying they “should’ve went to the pub”.
