Homesport

From upwards of the under-16 age group, Galway are cleaning up.

Across camogie, football and hurling, the west has risen and maroon jerseys of all sizes are dominating. In 2018, there are 17 championship titles on offer for all of Galway's teams from under-16 camogie to senior men's football and, so far, they've won seven of those trophies. Only three of them are off the table for the rest of the year with the under-20 footballers missing out on both Connacht and All-Ireland success and the minor camogie outfit losing out in the national decider. It means there is still potential for Galway to take seven more honours before the year is out and they can still win in every single code. Still up for grabs are the ladies football All-Ireland championship (they've already won the Connacht), the camogie All-Ireland, the minor football All-Ireland (they've already won the Connacht), the senior football All-Ireland (they've already won the Connacht), and the minor, under-21 and senior hurlers are all still in contention for the big time too. Ladies U16 All-Ireland Championship Winners Ladies Minor All-Ireland Championship Winners Ladies Senior All-Ireland Championship Connacht winners All-Ireland quarter-finals (ongoing) Minor Camogie All-Ireland Championship Runners-up Senior Camogie All-Ireland Championship All-Ireland quarter-finals (ongoing) Minor football All-Ireland Championship Connacht winners All-Ireland quarter-finals (ongoing) Senior football All-Ireland Championship Connacht winners All-Ireland semi-finals (ongoing) Minor hurling All-Ireland Championship All-Ireland final (ongoing) U21 hurling All-Ireland Championship Leinster winners All-Ireland semi-finals (ongoing) Senior hurling All-Ireland Championship Leinster winners All-Ireland semi-final (ongoing) Whatever is on that road of the N17, the rest of the island may as well go exploring because Galway, in every sport, in all of their lay people's walks even, are strutting with assurance. They are winners now, every one of them and, you know what they say, success breeds success. Here's the list of dates to look out for for when all of their teams will be chasing even more glory.
