A crazy amount of live Gaelic football and hurling games are on TV this weekend

Get your chores done on Friday, because your weekend is booked.

A crazy amount of GAA matches, both football and hurling, will be shown live on TV this weekend, so park yourself down and don't move from the sofa. An incredible 11 games will be available to watch on the tube, and some of them are absolute crackers, while others, you could probably flick back and forth too. The Tailteann Cup quarter finals kick off, so knockout championship football is at the heart of the weekend, with Laois taking on Limerick, and Cavan facing Down in an all-Ulster affair. Then in the All-Ireland series we have the last game of the group stages, so by Sunday evening we will know who has made the quarter finals, preliminary quarter finals, and who has been knocked out. Donegal vs Monaghan is a very interesting match up as they have both recovered from disappointing defeats in Ulster and look more promising. Kildare are up against it as they prepare to face Roscommon, Dublin will be expected to beat Sligo, while Cork are looking to upset Mayo who have won their first two games in the group so far. Galway will play Armagh in a replay of last year's thrilling quarter final, and Westmeath have one last chance to stay in the championship if they can beat Tyrone. Offaly play Tipperary in the preliminary quarter finals of the senior hurling championship, with the winner of that game set to face Galway.
