The top GAA scorer in this year's football season has a new leader after an explosive weekend of football that saw some forwards dominate the game.
Going into the weekend the likes of Shane McGuigan, Darragh Canavan and David Clifford were on the on-form sharp shooters splitting the posts for fun this season.
With Kerry taking on Tyrone, many predicted it could be a shoot-out between Canavan and Clifford, however the game was dominated in midfield, and Sean O'Shea took the chance to climb the ladder.
As Derry played Cork, some thought it was the perfect opportunity for McGuigan to really stretch out his lead at the top, but it wasn't a great day for the Slaughtneil man who struggled to find the target and missed a penalty late in the match.
The real hero of the weekend however, was Dublin's Colm Basquel who scored an incredible 2-2 against Mayo, and with all of the hype surrounding Con O'Callaghan and Cormac Costello, nobody expected this!
Basquel is now the top scorer from playing having converted an unbelievable 5-15 so far this year, a crazy total considering that we are only just finishing the quarter final stages.

O'Callaghan is in second place with 2-21, followed closely by Clifford with 3-15 so far this year. McGuigan is still in the hunt with 1-19 to his name.
The Derry star still holds top place in the overall rankings, kicking a total of 2-46, with the Kerryman holding down second place in that list.
With only two games left in the season, the race for the Golden boot is getting pretty heated.
