There was hurling, there was football but of course, we have to start with the hot topic of the weekend - the clash of Donal Óg Cusack and Joanne Cantwell on The Sunday Game.
We didn't actually have to - but we did feel it was worth talking about. Analysing the analysts - it doesn't get better than that.
From there, along with our guest Kyle Coney, Mayo's impressive performance against Kerry is discussed as is Tyrone's loss to Galway. Kyle was blown away by the athleticism of Mayo, in particular that shown by Matthew Ruane - while he was disappointed with some of Tyrone's tactics.
Coney goes onto make a bold comparison - he says Kildare are the Spurs of the GAA. It's hard to know if that's more of an insult for Kildare or Spurs.
Then there is some hurling talk as we re-live two absolute classic encounters in Munster - with Clare already booking their place in the Munster final.
