Everything was going to plan for Mayo in the first half. Their defenders were on top, they were dominating the game and each turnover was met with roof-raising roars by their fans.
But then Dublin did what Dublin do. Colm Parkinson reckons Mayo should have given Jim Gavin something to think about after half-time, i.e an Aidan O'Shea shaped missile on the edge of the square.
Mayo stayed with the tactics that served them well though, and the Dubs just took off. Con O'Callaghan, Brian Fenton and Paul Mannion did most of the damage but the role of Ciaran Kilkenny shouldn't be underestimated.

Elsehwere, Tyrone's collapse was a strange one and both Parkinson and Doherty feel Kerry will have to bring something fresh to the final to even challenge the Dubs.
Peter Keane's mind games are in full flow and why the falling attendances isn't that surprising.
