This GAA craic ain't so tough after all.

Former Tottenham and England midfielder David Bentley showed up for training with Crossmaglen on Monday. Two training sessions later and Bentley - now retired from the professional game - may have found a new sporting career. Bentley lined out in attack for the Armagh club in a match against local rivals Silverbridge and proved he is no slouch. He scored one fine point from play, in the first half, and slotted another from the placed ball after a teammate was fouled. He notched another point after the break to finish with 0-3. Ahead of Bentley's first outing, former Armagh defender, and current Crossmaglen player, Aaron Kernan told SportsJOE, 'He's really bought into it and he was walking around the town last night and being in Crossmaglen will be something completely different to anything he's experienced before.' Bentley's stint in Gaelic Football is part of a new TV show from AIB called 'The Toughest Trade', which will also see Kilkenny's Jackie Tyrrell try out life as a professional baseball player in Florida.
