God, it's great to be Irish.

The whole country is feeling particularly patriotic today as the Rugby World Cup finally kicks into gear and the footballers head for Poland on the crest of a wave. By the end of Sunday evening, Joe Schmidt's men could be looking at a quarter final clash with Argentina whilst the Republic could have already booked their place in France for Euro 2016. But they both depend on results. In some parts of the world, we never lose that every day Irishness and it's a beautiful thing. Naomh Colmcille were playing Fanad Gaels in the Donegal Intermediate Football Championship semi final replay when a renowned local journalist put a brilliantly Irish slant on his match updates. Only in Ireland and all that. https://twitter.com/chrismcnulty86/status/653214167059558400 Of course, with every piece of good work comes good preparation. And Daniel O'Donnell intervention, too. https://twitter.com/chrismcnulty86/status/652936282826539008 Oh, Ireland... never change. Naomh Colmcille won by 11, by the way.
